Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 1.39%.
The best performers of the session on the were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.95% or 6.40 points to trade at 70.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.92% or 4.40 points to end at 48.75 and Perfect Presentation for Commercial Services Company PJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 9.71% or 17.00 points to 192.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.19% or 1.00 points to trade at 30.30 at the close. Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 2.07% or 9.00 points to end at 426.00 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:) was down 2.01% or 1.10 points to 53.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 199 to 56 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.92% or 4.40 to 48.75. Shares in Perfect Presentation for Commercial Services Company PJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; rising 9.71% or 17.00 to 192.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.83% or 1.24 to $69.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.60% or 1.18 to hit $74.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 33.75 to trade at $1,949.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.52% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 102.79.
