Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 2.44% or 22.60 points to trade at 950.20 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:) added 2.22% or 4.05 points to end at 186.20 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was up 1.78% or 2.50 points to 143.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.77% or 2.00 points to trade at 111.20 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:) declined 1.00% or 1.25 points to end at 123.45 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was down 0.99% or 3.40 points to 341.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.80% or 1.45 to $82.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.60% or 1.36 to hit $86.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 18.45 to trade at $2,178.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 103.93.
