Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the declined 0.44% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 1.54 points to trade at 17.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:) added 9.94% or 1.80 points to end at 19.90 and Raydan Co (TADAWUL:) was up 9.89% or 2.65 points to 29.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.97% or 4.65 points to trade at 42.00 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 6.51% or 11.00 points to end at 158.00 and Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:) was down 6.14% or 11.60 points to 177.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 117 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.30% or 1.16 to $87.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.14% or 1.09 to hit $94.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 3.25 to trade at $1,766.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 106.85.
